We rent a small apartment, 2 bedrooms, here in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Its where I'm typing from right now.
Well, good news :)
We've been living here for about 6 years, but they're kicking us out on march 31st, about 40 days from now or so? Anyways, they're rennovating both of the buildings.
However, at the moment, they're only renovating the one across the way. OUrs isnt being renovated.... exactly. Because that's a lie from the owner. It is being renovated, right around us. And we're not supposed to have been moved out for another 40 days.
Anyways the latest event involves sewage backing up into our bathtub, and then finally they've worked on it. Below, you'll see what it looks like when its worked on.
Shitty, is in fact, an understatement. I think you'll find the pics shocking... but what should be even more shocking is that this is MY FUCKING HOUSE. The landlord has offered no alternative. not a hotel room, not a place to sleep and currently we're pressuring him on that very topic. They are just about to leave for the night the workers said, and something has to happen. I'm not sleeping here :)
Anyways, for those of you visiting from the blog, I think this is a great reason for me to be missing updating for a day or two, so forgive me if you are a bookmarker looking for the good stuff. More of that as soon as I can.
