Ok, yeah I know this is a porn blog but I thought this article was really, really good. I got it from 411 Mania (which is another blog) and its basically this guys top 100 movies of the year.
Basically, what I liked about this, is there are some movies on there that I forgot about, or that I didnt hear about or just didnt get to see. That list reminds me of them.
I... acquire... a lot of movies. Sometimes I download them from the net, but I make up for it by having a staggering DVD collection. its sad that I watch everything I download, but only have watched about 3/4 of what I've bought. Some are still in plastic.

So, anyways. that's a lot of movies... now here is some basic math for you.. (and the point of my article)
it probably costs on average 10 dollars per person around the country to see a movie. That's 1,000 dollars that fucker spent on movies last year. Wow.
Now, um, Hello? Porn runs you 3.95 for a week fucking trial. Paysites have entire movies you can download and keep. I admit I spent quite a bit last month downloading and saving and burning porn onto DVD's, but the truth is, I spent a fuckload less than anyone who saw all that shit.
Plus i didnt have to leave the house :)
