The one question I see most often is about these "free porn memberships" or "free trial memberships" when this is actually pretty simple to understand. Why do premium porn sites offer free memberships? Whats the catch? How does it work? Its all actually pretty simple, so let me explain to you.
Lets follow, step by step, starting from your perspective, the surfer.
Lets imagine you search google for free reality porn and you come up with my website, Reality Porn TGP . you click around a bit, surfing a few of the galleries and 'bam' there is a girl you really like.
So, you click on one of the banners and you get to the site and there is the girl you're looking for, right in the tour. She's gotta have more pics on the inside and you want to check them out.
You click on "join" and there it is, free memberships to porn, or maybe its just a couple of bucks. You may get 3 days free, you may get a week, but either way it seems like a con right? Well, it is and it isnt.
Most of these sites offer you 100% access to their websites for your trial period. You can download all you want, you can save all the movies and pics, check out the live shows or whatever. They do this because on average a man takes about 12 minutes of looking at porn before he finally blows his load, or so said some industry standard back in 1996. I take a bit longer but then again I'm jaded :)
So you pull out your credit card, you plug it in, you pay your 2-3 bucks and you have full site access. Some of these sites will give you access to multiple websites during your trial, and offer you a membership for all of their sites at once for the same fee. some wont. It really depends on the company.
Speaking of the company, however, each of these paysites is probably owned by a larger network of revenue services, such as nastydollars or cecash. That's where I come in. See, I have a webmaster account with each of those companies. So, when you click on MY gallery's sponsor links, they put a little cookie in your browser and when you sign up for the trial, I get credit.
How much credit? Depends on the program. Some websites pay a small fee for finding people willing to take the trial, even if the membership retains or not. Others share revenue, if you continue to be a member for 6 months, half of what you put into the site goes to the referring webmaster. Some sites will only pay for people who stay past the free trial, but they generally pay much more than sites that pay just if they try a trial.
Now at this point, I'm probably 'done with you' because whether or not you liked your trial, i'm going to get a little something out of it. I only want people to stay a member if they like what they signed up for anyways, so its not a big deal to me whether you like it or not. Whats a real big deal, is whether you tried the trial. I'll never have a chance to turn a single penny if you dont try a trial out once in a while. Then again, only about 1/2 my surfers seem to ever try one, since there is so much more free shit out there. Of course, free sites have ads, pop ups, etc... paid for porn does not. its a matter of personal choice I think.
Of course, I have quite a few porn memberships that I gladly let roll on my credit card each month. I consider it 'research' and for those who wonder, I research a couple times a day. more than that and my balls get sore.
So, what all this comes down to is this; Try a trial membersihp, its no big deal. if you like it, it automatically renews. if it doesnt, it wont. Every site has to give you simple and easy to follow step by step process for canceling before the renewel. Read the fine print and you'll be fine. The US government quickly destroys those who fuck up and try to cheat in the adult industry. They dont like us to begin with so everything has to be super... fucking... spotless. You run more risk down at the 7-11 when you buy a bagel and some coffee than when you buy a porn membership. I never trusted that zit faced kid behind the counter and he now has your credit card info, and he has some porn memberships to buy with it!
