Chloe Jones Dead at 29
Well, for those of you who were familiar with the adult side of the internet in 1998 or so, there are few icons out there that are as recognizable as Chloe Jones. Many of you have probably had her desktops or winamp skins or the like as part of your internet life at one point. I sure know I have. If you need a refresher course, here ya go:
Well anyways, she’s now in that great stripperpole in the sky, so it appears. Dead at the ripe old age of 29.

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Former adult film star Chloe Jones died on Saturday morning in her hometown of Houston. She was 29.
Jones best friend, Karen Struble, said the cause of her passing was not yet known. Her 30th birthday would have been June 17.
It was sudden, Struble told AVN.com. She meant a lot to me. Ive known her for 10 years. We had a lot of fun together. Whenever she was in California, we were together. The last time I saw her was in February for some appearances. The last time I spoke to her was a few weeks ago.
Jones, a Penthouse Pet in April 1998, was a contract performer for Vivid Entertainment Group and New Sensations, the first company with which she was exclusive in 2001. She also had layouts in Playboy and Vanity Fair, among numerous other magazines, in addition to mainstream appearances on shows such as Baywatch, Diagnosis Murder, Edenquest and Showtime’s Full Frontal Comedy. Jones performed in less than 30 productions in four years, and had stopped performing in adult videos last year.

As far as the adult industry, she was trying to get away from it, she said. She was taking a lot of rest. Her next goal was to write a book. I talked to her at least every other month minimum. She would stay with me when she came to LA.

Still dont know what killed her but if you die at 29 there isnt a lot of things that arent pretty obvious. If it wasnt a major accident of some sort then its generally a heart or stroke, brought on by some silent killer or possibly the results of drug abuse. Or an OD. But she had 3 kids so I’m going to just pretend she had one of those rare holes in her heart or something cause you’d have to be pretty fucked in the head to do coke with 3 kids.

people die every day that’s true. Christians, non christians, whatever.
But the truth of the matter is that there are plenty of well adjusted folks in the industry who have starred and played in the adult industry for years.
You and your judgemental attitude arent welcome here now why dont you fuck off.
She was an internet icon, a celebrity, and an excelent adult actress. She’d actually left the industry to raise her kids almost 3 years ago.
So she was off that “path of self destruction” as you said and honestly its a shame you cant even give her credit for that.
You must really fucking hate yourself to hate this person as bad as you do.

Murder!!
You neglected to mention Murder as a possible means of dying at the ripe old age of 29. Suicide, homicide, Pesticides, and other Cide’s.
I vote for it being an accident with a slinky and a speedo gone terribly wrong. All in all though, damn shame. Wonder what sorta books she’d have written…. I’m thinking Murder Mysteris or a new Sherlock Holmes classic.

Why is it that people find it so easy to dismiss the loss of someone that worked in the porn industry…
Lose the superior attitude…to even be reading this you had to look a porn…then you act like its OK to disrespect her when she passes away…
She was beautiful and smart enough to use what she had been given to try and get as much money as she could with what she had…after all she had three kids…
Asia Carrera has also left the business to raise her kids…Anyone who bothers to read her website and not just look at the pictures…I know its hard…will find that she is as smart as she is beautiful…could have done anything she wanted…Been a doctor a lawyer but she made more money having sex and having dirty pictures taken…ooooohhh. That was her decision and frankly thank god she did. But if she died judgmental morons would feel it was OK to bad mouth AC too.
Say a prayer for Chloe Jones and her family. She was as beutiful on the inside as she was on the outside…Her loss at such a young age is tragic and sad.

If she was a fraction as beautiful on the inside as she was on the inside, then she truly overall was one of the most beautiful women of all time. Of all the wonderful looking girls out there she certainly, IMO, was very arguably at the very, very top. I hope she’s doing fine wherever she is.

I just started to watch videos of Chloe Jones and have to say WOW. A tragic lost to the industry. I wanted to know if she did any gangbangs or interracial scenes and if so, in what movies.

Chloe (Dee) was a real close friend of mine. Its sick to see what people will write about someone, who they have known as Chloe Jones the porn star. If you knew her in person you would realize how fucking amazing she was as a person and a mother. There were 2 men that ruined her life. Oneday the true story will come out about what happened to her. Her true family aren’t even allowd to see her children. Why is that you may asked? The 2 fucking loser men. And to open the door to her apartment and let just anyone come in and grab whatever possessions they wanted from her and keep? Her family would have really wanted her things. But they were not allowd to have them. Anyways, before you talk shit about someone you dont know, think, and realize you hurt family and friends like me when we read this, and hope to hell I dont meet you.

Morons! she had leukemia (CANCER!) She was cool as hell, outside the industry. Though we didnt talk that often, we’d chat a few times a year. I will miss her lots! Atleast she is now in a more peaceful and forgiving place.
