2257 Laws Knee Jerk
Surely you’ve seen my reaction to the 2257 laws. If you havent use the search portion of the sidebar over there for ‘2257′ and read up.
The department of justice has already modified 6 different parts of the law in order to convince the judge its constituional. it still isnt. They’ve backpedled and every lawyer from here to the end of the earth know that when the DoJ backpeddles they know they’re hurting.
This law is due to be overruled in a matter of days, so, faced with that, I got some really shocking news.
Woke up this morning and one of the folks I work with ICQ’d me some files, that came with a content batch he’d recently recieved from one of our affiliates for promotion. They give this content out to anyone who signs up for their program. They give it out to anyone who has made a signup or two, whether they’re big named webmasters or not.
What is in there, you ask? Two scans of two seperate picture id’s, for each model. 4 ID’s total. Two drivers license, 1 passport, and one social security card. I almost threw up a little.
KNOWING that 2257 isnt constituional, KNOWING that the current laws are being atlered and changed and that secondary producers are likely to not need this information its given out with ‘free’ content to all webmasters to use as promotional pictures….. what they do with it who knows. Maybe some wont even notice and it’ll end up on a gallery. Can you imagine this poor sex worker’s info showing up on a goddamned porn gallery? Holy fuck. Her social security card. CHRIST.
Welcome to bush’s america.

All the content providers want to protect themselves. That’s logical. And they do this in the way the law says. But doing so they’re risking even more. Having read all possible threads on 2257 on a few adult webmaster forums I still don’t understand why would government need it at all? Protecting children? How?
