About Comment Spam
Once again I wanted to write about comment spam.
ABout 400 times a day, people try to spam boogie-blog.com and put random comments to include links to their blogs, or spam pages, or worse.
Generally this is spambots. They have little programmed sayings and things that are easy to recognize.
I look for information on google and take from this site
or
Very good job u guys … thx (link to some insurance site)
And the variety of things these people are trying to sell is wildly variant.
Insurance (Life to car), cigarettes, it doesnt matter.
The one thing that’s missing? porn. WHERE ARE THE PORN SPAMS.
Are you fucking telling me that PORNOGRAPHERS ARE FUCKING MORE MORALE THAN YOU DIRTY INSURANCE SELLING COCKBAGS?
I mean, shit, this IS a porn blog afterall. I cant imagine why there are no PORN SPAMS.
get with the programs you sick fucks. No one is going to buy insurance from this blog anyways.
dillholes.
its a sad fucking state of affairs when a pornographer can look down on you.

I agree. Random comment spamming is horrible. I am however completely for targeted comment marketing. If the comment is relevant and has some sort of contribution or positive enthusiasm towards the subject matter at hand then that’s great.
I believe there aren’t alot of porn spammers because, believe it or not, the adult industry is very professional! Just check ynot.com or xbiz.com. These are great industry news sites and just by visiting those you can see that the industry is also a community that tries to keep standards and professionality.
Those in the industry do not spam because OUR OWN community gives us more than enough tools and forums and resources to get our links out there, which in turn calls for a better page ranking because the links are relative to the industry.
So a note for you spammers, MARKET don’t spam! Find blogs in your industry and/or target market and write an enlightening comment or two. Not only will your efforts be more rewarded, but those who click the link will have more respect for you.
This comment in itself is a target marketed comment. This is what I set out to do. It just makes sense if the site you are marketing can be of use to the target market, and along with an insightful comment making it a positive effect.
Oh and lo and behold some luck. I was just chatting with a co-worker that has a blog and he told me that http://akismet.com/ has a free product that greatly reduces comment spam.
Insightful comment and some help Hope you like.
