Booble Search Engine Instant messenger
Well, we all do the instant messenger thing, I reckon. I do anyways. I use Trillian because it allows me to combine all of my chat logins into one. AOL, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN. But, looks like that fabled search engine Booble is getting into the act. You might remember these guys from way back, they looked just like google… said they were a ‘parody’ of it. Site design, color scheme, everything was pretty much just like google. Google of course sent their rabid team of lawyers out to defend their trademarks and low and behold booble changed its looks.
Now, what didnt change was the fact that they’d gotten so much free press from all this that their searches were enough to keep them floating pretty well. Google basically ‘made’ them by giving out that free press.
So now, just like google, these folks are getting their fingers into every pie in the adult biz that they can manage. Now its the instant messenger game.
my friend over at Big Ol Boobies talked about the Booble Adult Instant Messenger. What did he have to say?
This little cyber chat messenger is a cool tool so that you can live sex chat with other pervs out there on the web. Now you can find other people who are sincerely interested in cybering with you!
Other features of the Booble Adult Instant Messenger are quick access to free porn pictures, autosign on to AIM Instant Messenger, and a running history log with every chat you’ve had. It’s a neat little chat client specifically designed for people who want to sex chat!
Not my kinda thing and I’ll stick with trillian thank you, But for the sake of journalism I’ll give it a shot. here we go.
Download and installation
I grabbed the program from the link at booble. Install was allright. There was something about a ’search assistant’ I didnt care for but, after installing I didnt notice any changes to my browser. Installed just fine it looks like.
Two new system tray icons are up. One for booble, one for Zango. Zango is logging my ‘browsing habits’ it seems. That’s spyware no matter how you put it. There is an easy uninstall option but it tells me in order to do so we’ve got to remove the booble IM. Meh.
Gave me the option, just like trillian, to include all 4 of the major chat networks. That aint half bad. Of course there is the booble network as well.
I did a few searches and I really couldnt find anyone online to talk with. Its 5:00am CST though so that’s not too suprising. Doesnt seem that its very populated yet.
The other features are kind of ok. Webcam stuff (but you get that with the other networks) and links directly into porn images right from their little ‘extras’ bar.
Allright enough of that. Think I’ll stick with trillian.
Uninstalling
Uninstall went quickly and easily. Removed booble IM first, then zango. Both came out clean. Ran spybot and ad aware looks like there is no problem. So at least it uninstalls clean too.
Well, I certainly dont recommend it over Trillian, but if you dont use trillian and want a little extra porn I figure you can give it a shot.
It should be safe to download. Besides, if you’re a long time reader of the blog you already know how to take care of spyware and viruses for free so I wouldnt be too worried.
Pop on over to Booble and give it a shot. Let us know how she works down there in the comments section
personally, I’d rather stick with trillian which is ‘zango’ free.

Honestly i removed it. I didnt care for it and I think it might have installed spyware.
Franco, you should get
Adaware
AVG antivirus
Spybot
and run them and see if there is spyware on your machine. It sounds like maybe that’s causing your problem with phantom pop ups.
If you want a good non porn messenger system grab
Trillian.
