Britan cracks down on violent Porn
Looks like britian has outlawed violent pornographic images:
The government announced plans — the first, it said, by any Western country — to ban the downloading and possession of violent sexual images.
“This is material which is extremely offensive to the vast majority of people, and it should have no place in our society,” Goggins said.
The government’s proposals would make it an offense to possess “extreme pornographic material which is graphic and sexually explicit and which contains actual scenes or realistic depictions of serious violence, bestiality or necrophilia.”
Viewing such material would constitute possession, although the government said it did not plan to prosecute people who accidentally stumbled across the images.
Such legislation would be a first for any Western nation, the Home Office said. Those convicted would face up to three years in prison.
Bizzare. hard to know what to say here, but what I can say, is that once you encroach on one liberty its fairly easy to keep destroying liberties as ya go. give an inch they’ll take a mile.
what else does the ‘general british public’ find offensive? That can be taken away as well. so that’s good.
Just glad my country shrugged the shackles off from these fuckers long ago we may be insane war mongering assholes but at least I can jack off to violent porn, if i wanted to. Which I dont. but the fact remains.

yeah but dude, weren’t you bitching about the internet thing? and isn’t this just like every time some politician (small city or big) starts to crackdown on porn shops? even people who think it’s hypocritical and stupid often don’t fight against it, because americans are still, despite everything that’s happened in the last 25 years, sexually repressed. this country was founded by prudes, and that’s deep in the social filling that runs through each and every american. sex = bad, porn = worse. i’m against violent sex and violent porn, because it just furthers this ideal that hurting women is cool. and it’s not. but what if they go after simple bonage flicks? or facial shit? saying it goes against the moral fiber of most the country? as soon as they attack a porno that has a guy merely slapping a chick’s ass during doggystyle sex, you know porn in general is heading to the streets. and then it gets more dangerous. and while internet porn has always been more fluid, less easy to grab onto than vids and magazines, it’s turning from fluid to ice. you see countries that allow porn, and check that society. even japan sells tons of violent, often horribly violent sexual mangas and hentai vids and comics, and while it could just be less reported than here, they have a ton fewer rape cases. i’m just saying. i think there should be regulations against porn that hurts people or influences other people to hurt people (or animals, or whatever). i think i got way caught up in the emotion of “anti-porn sucks!” and didn’t fully think this shit thru. but i hope you get what i’m saying.

Damn it, it’s not the point whether rape porn is healthy or not. The important thing is we’re talking about LAW, which means enforcement, which means ‘Under what circumstances can people with guns show up at my house?’ Now I’m very positive on police in a lot of circumstances. Murder? Yes, guns and sticks, go. Rape? -actual rape, not imaginary sick shit done to imaginary people who only exist in my head- God bless you, Officer. Don’t forget the pepper spray. Credit card fraud? HELL YEAH. Have you ever had to get some bullshit like that off your credit report? But you want to keep people from thinking messed up shit at gunpoint? WHAT?
