Dear Alberto Gonzales
Dear Attorney General Alberto Gonzales,
Hi. I’m just a simple pornographer. You don’t know me and, I don’t know you, but you know what I do for a living.
apparently you don’t like it.
my friend over at Porn Editor brought an article to my attention today that you need to Fucking Read
According to recent news stories, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales effectively declared war on the adult entertainment industry when he pledged to seek out and prosecute obscenity cases.
Now Mr Gonzales, I realize that much of this is your attempt to stay ‘cool’ and ‘hip’ in your christian community. That’s great and all, I understand. But how much of it is true?
Are you going to crack down on poor ‘ol boogie and his blog, and leave the child pornographers out there? Are you going to tell me that I cant show a spread open vagina but let those who victimize in their pornography walk the streets?
are you going to spend tens of millions of tax payer dollars on bringing down places like hustler online or crushing people like Larry Flynt, instead of seeking out those kids who are being harmed?
Its funny because that’s what the ASACP seems to think.
How do you sleep at night knowing that even we pornographers have our priorities straighter than you? Most of the adult webmasters i’ve worked with have been very proactive against child pornography and you’re more concerned about Raven Riley willingly and lovingly sucking dicks on camera, but not concerned about an 8 year old being abused by his father who takes photos of him for his online porn ring.
I think my friend at Big Ol Boobies said it best when he said:
I agree 100%! Let the people have their adult entertainment, as long as everyone is legal and consensual, then stay the hell out of our bedrooms! I applaud their efforts to crack down on child pornographers and pedophiles, but as far as porn sites among adults - leave them alone!! We are a free society, right? If the take away these freedoms, what’s next? Our right to drive? Free speech?
And I’ll quote from this article, Michelle L. Freridge, Executive Director of the Free Speech Coalition(FSC):
“Instead of pouring tax dollars down the drain to harass legitimate businesses that create legal adult entertainment for consenting adults, Gonzales should be investing his time, funding, and staffing in the prosecution of illegal child pornography”
But, we gotta get those votes I guess. We’ve gotta please the churches that helped you gain your position
The internet is the last bastion of free speech. Lets not crush it just yet. Free speech is only meant to be stopped when it harms other. Who, dear sir, am I harming with this post?
Sincerely,
Boogie
