Whats the difference….
I was thinking about 2257 again today and I realized that there are a few things that I can do under the banner of free speech.
Like for example if I had a photograph of george bush getting his balls licked by Albert Gonzales (I might…) I couldnt display it here since I dont have any IDs of george walker bush or albert gonzales. This is unfortunate.
But I could describe it in explicit details using words. Using speech. I could tell you how Gonzale’s filthy shitstained tongue had freshly come out of his mother’s asshole and was inching its way across Dubya’s hairy sweatstained ballsack, as his limp dick ricocheted off of Gonzales’ forhead.
I mean I could. If i had that kind of picture.
Or hell I could even draw it for you:
So, while I was thinking about all of this I realized something.
If someone had drawings of a person under the age of 18 being raped… its legal. hell, you could show them getting raped and KILLED and it would be legal. Could plaster it all over the internet and no one could do a single thing to you.
You could likewise write about people under the age of 18 being harmed and it would be perfectly legal. Write about rape or incest or sexual abuse or torture or death…. and the world goes on.
But take a picture of a 45 year old woman sucking cock and put it on the same website, and you’re going to jail for 5 years. Ludicrous in my opinion. But that’s the DOJ for you. They love their child snuff drawings and stories. Dont want to put an end to that.
Who in their right fucking mind thinks that a person producing actual photos of someone under 18 is going to comply with 2257? They’re already breaking one law… ya know… the one about not producing that kind of porn so I personally think asking them to keep books on it to prove their guilt is pretty well asinine.
But hey that’s just me. I’m no republican christian so I cant really speak for that demographic. I’m also not retarded so I cant tell you what cat food tastes like either.
But here in boogieville, population of one, this shit doesnt make a bit of sense. Well, unless you hated porn as a whole and wanted to stamp it out or something. I mean then this is really logical. But certainly that cant be the case. As often as government officials have been visiting my pages in the past few days, well, its pretty obvious to me they really love their porn.

I aggree with your view on the updated 2257. The new law is so open ended I don’t know what to believe. I do believe that the whole “Child Pornography” title is just a facade, a front. As you said the actual “Child Porn Producers” are already breaking one law what’s another going to hurt?
I do know the new 2257 hurts the small “Adult” website, but it will be no problem for the big boys such as the sites funded through GM and AT&T.
Where these just ideas from the big companies who funded the politicians
to pass this just to eliminate competition???
Just a thought.

Boogie, I hear ya 100%. A lot of AWM’s feeling the pinch and are a tad worried about it all. Some sponsors have closed up shop and moved onto to other things and yet others have fallen off the map. As a Canadian I am feeling the pinch too as what the US is proposing goes against our privacy act. The best thing we can do now I suppose, is work quietly and wait and see what develops from this mess.

Also, you could show pictures of a minor in ’sexy’ outfits and poses and call it a ‘model site’, and get away with it. But as you said… show two consenting adults.. well now that is just SICK!

It’s the same thing with the patriot act, no politicians reads anything before it gets passed so it needs a good title.

Small adult sites don’t have problems, big ones do because they have to take care of their affiliates and protect the personal infromations of models at the same time.
It affects everybody, there is nobody that has any real advantage.

Understandable point “BootyMan”. I was just angry that day and venting a little.
